  • You have to fill in the full name, age, and sex of each visitor as printed the same on the identity cards of that person. Also, those identity cards need to be provided along with the confirmatory amount for the Jim Corbett Online Safari Booking.

  • On Saturday, Sunday, festivals, etc, the prices for safari can be high.
  • Tourists are not allowed to get down from the gypsy, canter, or elephants during the ride.
  • Carrying pets with you during the safari is strictly prohibited. Keep them at your house to avoid accidents.

Entry Formalities

The Jim Corbett National Park which is located in Ramnagar is one of its kind restricted area. It has a lot of rules and regulations for the safety of tourists as well as wild animals. Tourists need to follow those rules and regulations for a safe and secure visit. To visit this park, people have to get approval from the forest officials and those are given in the form of safari permits.

Two sets of permits are given by the forest authorities or you can say the government to enter the park’s premises. To enter the Safari Zones of Jim Corbett National Park, tourists are required to take those permits from the forest officials. The permits that are issued by the government include the day safari permits and night stay permits. The day safari permits are issued so that people can enjoy a safari inside the park and the night stay permits are issued so that tourists can get a thrilling chance to stay inside this wild park. The day safari permits are issued for a particular period of time and you can only go inside the park for that time.

If anyone, whether it’s an Indian or a foreign, wants to go in any zone of the park then they are required to keep a day pass with them. On the other hand, if you want to stay at the accommodation at night inside this wild area, then for that, a night stay permit is needed. That permit will ensure your night stay accommodation at the Forest Lodge and it is issued by the government that will serve as a guarantee of stay.
